All the pedestals come with all the required fixings to fix the charger to the mounting plate. They also come with the plastic end caps to seal the top of the post. We would recommend the plinth be set in the ground using a wooden frame at around 400mm to 500mm square and around 300mm deep.
Set some ducting into the centre of the plinth and towards the cable run. Maximum diameter of the ducting: 75mm for the square post and 95mm for the cylinder post.
Pour in the concrete, level, and allow to set.
Feed the cable through the ducting, lower the post into position whilst feeding the cable up through the post and out of the slot/hole in the front of the post.
Fix the post down using the anchors provided.
Mount the charger using screws provided.
Connect the cable to the charger.
We can supply the post with an extra hole at the bottom in a desired location, usually at the back. This means that the cable does not have to go underground.
You can request this in the comments box during the check out process.
